To adjust the gap, after reaching the specified value, the gear sleeve is connected with the drive shaft through a key, and the outer teeth of the gear sleeve mesh with the inner teeth of the friction disc, under the action of the spring force, the friction between the friction disc and the armature, the base (or connecting plate) will brake the drive shaft through the gear sleeve. When the coil is energized, the armature will be attracted to the magnet under the action of electromagnetic force. On the yoke, the friction disc is released and the brake is released.
Detailed steps for installation of electromagnetic brake
1. Use electromagnetic brakes without water and oil. If the friction part is wet or oily, the friction torque will be greatly reduced, and the braking sensitivity will also become worse. In order to avoid using these, if any, please cover them.

5. When installing, please adjust the suction gap to within 20% of the specified value of the machine.

7. For assembly screws, use spring metal or adhesive to prevent loosening.
