2. Magnetic eddy current brake: After the excitation coil is energized, a magnetic field is formed. The armature on the brake shaft rotates, cutting the magnetic lines of force, and generating eddy currents. The eddy current in the armature interacts with the magnetic field to form a braking torque. The eddy current brake is durable and easy to maintain., Wide speed range, but low efficiency at low speed, temperature rise, heat dissipation measures must be taken. This kind of brake is often used in machinery with vertical load.
3. Electromagnetic friction braking: The excitation coil is energized to generate a magnetic field, the armature is attracted by the yoke, and the armature is braked by the coupling.
