Electromagnetic power loss The electromagnetic brake is mainly composed of magnetic choke, armature, connecting plate, spring, friction plate, gear sleeve and other parts equipped with coils. When the coil is de-energized, the friction plate generates friction with the armature and base (or coupling plate) under the action of the spring force, and the drive shaft is braked by the gear sleeve. When the coil is energized, the armature is attracted to the magnetic choke under the action of electromagnetic force, thereby releasing the friction plate and releasing the brake.

2. There is no corrosive metal and gas or dust that damages insulation in the surrounding medium.


3. Class B insulation shall be adopted around the brake, and the voltage fluctuation shall not exceed + 5% and-15% of the rated voltage. Its working mode is the continuous working system installation control requirements.


4. The matching accuracy of the drive shaft and the brake should be ensured during installation.


5. The brake must be cleaned before installation, and there must be no oil and dust on the friction surface and inside the brake.


6. The gear sleeve must be axially fixed.


The choice of the type of electromagnetic brake depends to a large extent on the required braking torque. In addition, the moment of inertia, relative speed, braking time, working frequency and other factors should be considered. The following are the modeling rules recommend by brake manufacturers.
