The electromagnetic clutch controls the engagement and disengagement of the clutch through the on and off of the coil. Electromagnetic clutches can be divided into: dry single-plate electromagnetic clutches, dry multi-plate electromagnetic clutches, wet multi-plate electromagnetic clutches, magnetic powder clutches, sliding electromagnetic clutches, etc.

Electromagnetic clutches can be divided into: dry single-plate electromagnetic clutches, dry multi-plate electromagnetic clutches, wet multi-plate electromagnetic clutches, magnetic powder clutches, sliding electromagnetic clutches, etc. The working mode of electromagnetic clutch can be divided into: power-on combination and power-off combination. electromagnetic clutch installation pay attention to matters:
1. Please use dry electromagnetic clutch without water and oil. If the friction part is stained with moisture or oil, the friction torque will be greatly reduced, and the sensitivity of the clutch will also deteriorate. In order to avoid these situations in use, please add a cover.
2. When using in dusty places, please use a protective cover.
3. Considering factors such as thermal expansion, please choose a mounting shaft thrust below 0.2mm
4. During installation, please mechanically adjust the suction clearance to within plus or minus 20% of the specified value.
5. Please keep the bracket light and do not use the clutch bearing to withstand excessive pressure.
6. For the screws used for assembly, please use spring metal sheet, adhesive, etc. to prevent loosening.
7. When using the frame on the mechanical side to maintain the lead, it is also necessary to use a terminal board to ensure the connection.
Do not add grease when using a dry electromagnetic clutch, otherwise the torque will decrease. The electromagnetic clutch must be cleaned before installation, and anti-rust grease and sundries must be removed. The electromagnetic clutch can be installed coaxially or on the shaft, and the axial direction must be fixed. No axial clearance is allowed between the driving part and the driven part. When installing the shaft, the coaxiality between the driving part and the driven part should not be greater than 0.1mm. When the wet electromagnetic clutch is working, lubricating oil must be added between the friction plates. The lubrication method adopts (1) oil separation lubrication;(2) Oil bath lubrication, the part immersed in oil is about 5 times the clutch volume;(3) Axial oil supply lubrication, high-speed and high-frequency operation should adopt axial oil supply method.
In order to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the electromagnetic clutch, it must be maintained and maintained frequently:
1. Always check the tightening of bolts, especially tighten the bolts of electromagnets, electromagnets and housings, yokes, electromagnets and connecting bolts.
2. The active part of the electromagnetic clutch is often added with lubricant.
3. Regularly check the mechanical wear of the moving parts and remove the dust, hair and dirt on the surface of the electromagnet parts.
4. Regularly check the length of the armature stroke. Because during the operation of the clutch, the stroke length of the armature will increase due to the wear of the cutting surface. When the armature stroke length does not reach the normal value, it must be adjusted to restore the small gap between the braking surface and the turntable. If the armature stroke length increases above the normal value, the suction force may be greatly reduced.
5. If the worn brake surface is replaced, the small gap between the brake surface and the turntable should be properly adjusted again.
In use, the electromagnetic clutch will produce different faults due to various factors. The failure of the electromagnetic clutch generally occurs during starting, idling and loading, but the failure occurs frequently during the starting process, mainly because it cannot be started, or the input voltage of the electromagnetic clutch is too low, regular the input voltage is DC24V. As well as unstable power, skidding or high temperature, but there are also special circumstances.
Therefore, pay attention to the requirements when inputting the voltage. The elimination method is to detect whether the input voltage is the required voltage of the electromagnetic clutch. When the coil is short-circuited, it is usually replaced or repaired. It is recommended to modify the electromagnetic clutch circuit for replacement or modification.
The operation is unstable, most likely the input voltage is unstable, the power of the detection power supply is about 1.5 times the rated power of the electromagnetic clutch, and the voltage fluctuation is within-5%. The solution to unstable operation is to check the voltage and stabilize the voltage. Another situation is frictional heating, causing the coil to burn out or short circuit.
