Working principle of electromagnetic clutch

2. After the coil 6 is energized, the friction plates are attracted to the iron core 7, and the armature 8 is also attracted, tightly pressing the friction plates. The driven gear will rotate with the driving shaft, which depends on the friction between the main and driven friction plates.
3. Single-chip electromagnetic clutch brake is mainly composed of yoke, coil, moving disc (single-chip electromagnetic brake without moving disc), friction plate, armature, flange and other integrated bodies. The working principle of the two is that when the coil is energized, a magnetic flux will be generated to attract the armature, thereby generating a friction torque, so that the driven part is combined or braked.
4. After the coil is de-energized, the coil spring installed between the inner and outer friction plates will restore the armature and the friction plate, and the clutch loses the function of transmitting torque. One end of the coil through the brush and slip ring 9 input DC, the other end can be grounded.The driving part and the driven part of the single-plate electromagnetic clutch use the friction between the contact surfaces to transmit torque with magnetic transmission, so that the two can be temporarily separated and gradually engaged, and the two parts are allowed to rotate with each other during the transmission process.
